Just out of interest, what would you partner them with? I've always liked the idea of ribbon tweeters, but intgration always seems to be a problem.

According to this, 401 platters were only balanced statically. What is more of note is that the tapered hole for the spindle and the inner running surface were machined in the same operation to ensure concentricity.

Album and CD arrived this morning. Heven't had a chance to listen to the LP yet, but there's something very nice about translucent red vinyl (quiet, Philip!)

CD in the car is gorgeous. Must go and see this girl some time.
