Excellent Steve, I'll look forward to seeing the pictures. In case you're not aware, you can purchase sets of Bob Jackson decals for the frame - they're definitely available on ebay. My bestest bike back around 1973, when I was a teenage club rider, was built around a Bob Jackson frame that I bought...

In my work we have to deal with another aspect of the influences behind the surveying problem and that is the shape of the Earth (the Geoid) and how you fit maps/charts to the 'lumpy' surface - essential for positional accuracy.

Looks good for a walk Mark. Are you just trying to get generally fit for the lakes or is there a specific event? ...162 is pretty high for you ? I don't believe the 162, it seems to be just one single reading from the HR monitor so probably just an anomaly; around 140bpm is more like where I peaked....
