A bank statement won’t show the date and time the transaction took place Not quite so. I checked my own bank statement (online) and my debit card transactions DO show the date of the transaction, but not time. It's probably unlikely that anyone would visit the same supermarket twice (or more) in on...

Exactly Greg, they should have evidence of you entering and leaving, showing times.. otherwise its just their word [/quote] In my case the "evidence" of my coming and going is irrefutable, the contention is whether I was in the shop, or not. I'm waiting to hear from Parking eye with regar...

Re: Parking fine.
In my area, the Aldi parking is limited to 2 hours, monitored by ANPR CCTV. There is no requirement to shop in the store. If there was such a requirement, the onus would be on the enforcement company to prove you did not shop. Check the detail on the car park notices. Based on what you have said, i...

I'll be in that same car park on Wednesday, and I will take photos of whatever signs are displayed.
That Aldi was totally refurbished a little while ago so they may have made changes to their parking policy.
One thing for certain, I won't pay without a fight (if necessary).

Did you enjoy the train journey Ray ? I did Phil, a part of the network I've not traveled on before, every train was bang on time and none were too crowded. Enjoyed the trip, listened to some podcasts and had a read. By coincidence, last night and tonight I've been watching a train cab ride video b...

Parking fine.
On 5th January I visited an Aldi to do some shopping for my Mum. I was in the car park for 26 minutes. I've now got a parking fine notice from "parking eye" for £70 , or £40 if paid within 14 days. I have sent notice of appeal. Is it up to me to prove I was actually shopping ? I may have p...

Re: Big Mosfets
It was a Nelson Pass design for a single ended 50W mosfet (SOT-227 package) amp, with Schade feedback to give it triode type curves. So how did it perform? Well, like so many of the amps I built it morphed into something different, in this case the MoFo. I remember it sounded rather good, but, even...

A pair of the pucks could be good for a meaty MoFo project I did build something with a pair of pucks, but I can't remember the details. I will try searching, it's on this forum somewhere.
