Dom Jolly on r4 recently when asked who/which he would choose between a child and a pet. Cats he said - not to be trusted. The best ever hour a child ever gave you - a dog would give every day. So it had to be the dog.

There were more than a few smug EV drivers commenting on the fuel crisis with ice drivers being turned away from forecourts.
Bit silly though relying on a smartphone. On our two recent trips abroad we duplicated documents across both our iphones AND printed most things.
