hello all, ive got half of one off those kits in my bike(poss a slightly diff kit, ultra small ballasts) its been fine.. in a car/van you should have a self levelling system to be legal... they can also be a problem between main and dip they take 5 or so seconds to ping up !! 6000k seems to be the r...

same prob here ! 3 off ecc83 240-9volt 30va transformer.. trans is fine but 10 volt... after 2 hours starts to get hot at 55 deg then it seems to get hotter more quickly at 60 the legs of the 3 leg thingy are at 70deg at that point the AC in the the dc starts to go up... on a variac at 216 ac i get ...

prob depends on what type. engineers/metal workers is not far off the temp of braizing rods

i still use lead/tin i have some lead free/silver solder (maplins) dont get on with it at all :!:
