Are the Russian teffers supposed to be a bit weak in bass though?

Wow wot a saga! Top hole on the PSU's BTW. :wink: Well I dunno, either: Capacitance coupling somewhere between pot and output wiring etc.? Pot is wired up wrong so as you turn it up more signal current goes into the earth. Then you get a bit of Voltage across the earth wires and it comes out on the ...

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, what's perfect in this mortal coil but imho a stonking great battery jsut says it al, or not as it doesn't add any hum or noise to the circuit. Yep that's one chunky black knob alright ...

So-o, am I right that your idea now is to make a 250 - 0 -250 from 2 x 0 - 250 0 - 250, and make it a full-rectified with the EZ80? Sure you can bung a resistor in somewhere if needs drop the Volts a bit.
