Those Lyrics Might be Slightly Altered following the Choir spending a Month in the Lake District.
I'll go first, " Oh beautiful rain, please 'F**k **f', my tent is 'Awash', my sleeping bag is 'Slosh'.

Re: Digital.

As there are contributions that lean towards playing digital recordings through a audio visual set up. I will inform that the two Apps I have used to good effect on the Laptop, with SQ being the priority is 5K Player, this makes the laptop sound much improved. VLC Media Player is not as resolving in...

Re: Longdog Audio TT PSU

On Sunday I took the LDA MKII down into East London to Stoyan's. He was available for our Long Overdue GL75 > LDA MKII session, the 401 was not ready as it weighs 9 Stone when plinthed, and Stoyan is convalescing from a Operation. Stoyan's SS Phonostage was used for much of the session, and followin...

Re: Nothing In Particular

If you want to talk about Range and Carbon Neutral, Have a look at a few of Dave the Bass's Cycle Data Posts and his Lunch Break Images. He is doing about 50 Miles around Town on a Packet of Crisps and a Pork Pie, I don't remember seeing a bottle of Ionic Drink, with such economy with a Eco sustaina...

Re: Chinese Loudspeaker Drive Units

On LH, there is discussion on comparisons to Lowther Drive Units.
I,m interested as well in how these units are assessed by the speaker builders on here.
Any speaker not requiring a xover and mounted on a OB is on my radar .

Chinese Loudspeaker Drive Units

The Link is to a range of drive units that might get the attention of a speaker builder.
There is a decent coverage of a few drivers in the range on Lenco Heaven, as well as a review of a few functioning speakers in use in Gravesend Kent.

Re: Room Treatment (Split from Owston thread)

No advising at all.
Dave has made it clear there is still outstanding treatments to be added, making the room, a work in progress.
I thought if Dave was in possession of the measurements from the treatment service, he could have offered them up for analysis from a few members who may understand them.

Re: Room Treatment (Split from Owston thread)

To the uninitiated looking in on this thread, it would be difficult to gather the purpose of the discussion. The discussion is about the listening room used for the Yorkshire HiFi Club Meetings. It is a large well presented room in a Basement with a through wall to a Adjoining Room that leads to a S...
