Tryfan on left. Y Garn in centre, Foel Goch just visible, partly obscured by Pen Yr Ole Wen, its summit on right.

Re: The Audio-Talk Cycling thread.

Re: FIR And FIlter Stuff

From what I can tell so far, it's not a sort of method that can easily be adapted to working one section of a speaker - looks like you have to run the whole frequency range from it - bearing in mind the delay or latency or whatever. This is discouraging, as I've worked very hard to get maximum trans...

Re: The Audio-Talk Cycling thread.

Very nice. Similar conditions up here. I've had a good couple of days on the bike. Yesterday afternoon I did an hour & 5 mins on some of the usual valley roads, the wind had dropped, quite nice. Today, better, went for a couple of hours, some variations on a regular route that goes down the main roa...

He didn't think he did anything wrong. he wouldn't apologise for anything, even when pressed my more than one journalist. His answer to the problems this will likely cause, in maintain public compliance to ...

Re: Something stirs in the Undergrowth

Thanks Nick - though I was thinking a little earlier, perhaps from where Chris said "I'm curious, Mark, as to where you're reading those reports", it's nearly all FIR discussion from that point on.
Took me a while to find the new thread .. !

Re: Something stirs in the Undergrowth

OK, here's a basic question that would have serious implications : when you run one part of a loudspeaker system using FIR, is there a inherent delay associated with it ?
