Re: Problem.

When I got the Audionote copy preamp back from Nick I put it in the system and played a few favourites. To be honest it sounded OK, but not brilliant, but I left it playing to see if the new coupling caps needed burning in. After a week I went back to my Pre 3, and it made the Audionote copy seem bl...

Dave has photobucket allowed use of their images in forums again ? Or are you subscribed?
It seems some images yes.

I've not subscribed so cant upload anymore as I'm well over the freebie limit.

Double deck is the idea
You could consider the 'Boost' - slightly rippled, with a flat underside.
I prefer a Bounty, with plain chocolate. :D

Yups, my dad always rated SM as a top rider. One of my Dad's claim-to-fame was being accidentally ran over by SM at a scrambles event they were both competing in.

Other than writing 'American Pie'.... whose Don?
Dave, I never knew your Dad was a scrambler. Do you remember what bike (s) he rode ?

I've finally made a start to make each monoblock take up a single floor space.

Double deck is the idea, I sort of know how they might end up.

The World Designs forum is down, I contacted Matthew and this was his reply. "Hi Philip Thanks for being in touch. Yes, it’s been down since Friday morning and the host’s are aware and “working on it”. They don’t man the phones at the weekend (whether they’re engineers take it off too, I’m not sure...

Also, I've just ordered a vacuum brake bleeder kit in a plastic case, easy to do the job single handed and only £11.25 on Ebay.
To be honest the tool was a failure, it sucked in air via the bleed screw threads rather than draw brake fluid through. :(

It may work better with motorcycle brakes.
