Re: Zero emission road vehicles.
Spoken to a friend who lives in Norway and the low temperatures do cause EV owners issues there as temps drop well below -30c at times. Obviously journey planning is key as is keeping the cars, even petrol and diesel in a heated garage. He did say they have a good charging network though so it’s rea...

Re: Parking fine.
Our Sainsbury’s runs ANPR cameras, clocking you in and out, 2hrs max stay but……you still have to buy a paper parking ticket at the intermittently working machines and display it. You can then redeem your parking fee at the checkout…..

Been messing around with the ARM based casio watch accuracy after the first calibration against time.is worked out to be +40s / year…not bad. So I’ve just re calibrated and hopefully it will be many weeks before the next. New firmware has been released to fix bugs so will be pulling it apart to refl...

Messing around with an ARM board replacement for cheap casio watches (F91W). https://i.postimg.cc/XqjSjKjm/IMG_6221.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/c1mFyyVF/IMG_6222.jpg Sensor board is in red. The board and therefore the watch is fully customisable with dedicated watch ‘faces’ that enhance the basic funct...

Re: Interesting (non musical) YouTube videos.
I will agree that electric cars are pollution free, at the point of use. Think beyond that. Nearly all my charging is at home. Supplier is Octopus. 100% Green electricity. Yeah but, Greg, there’s no separate green grid so you electric may come from a ‘dirty’ source, from Octopus themselves: It’s im...
