I had a Triumph Dolomite 1500 TC. (yeah baby Twin Carbs) that was cherished and then promptly fell apart within two years of living outside and been driven in all weathers. My Dad bought a new Renault 14TS, within a year both front wings had started to rot through, it burnt oil like it was going out...

I’m in the same boat with my NSA320S. Been putting it off as I ran out of available RPi’s but I’ve just found an RPi 2 B+......great except the SD slot it bust....drat....

Amazing how quickly the IT world moves, I’ve been out of touch with technology developments for about 18months, when I semi-retired the talk was about going back to 14nm and developing 3D processors, anything less that 10nm was deemed not practical to mass produce.

Yup, I think the extra performance of the 4 only comes into play if you are considering the RPi as a NAS device with associated mirrored drives etc.
