Re: DIY Transistor Amp Using NVA Boards

So where to go? Well if anyone on here can give me some suggestions as to where to find literature on solid state high fidelity amp circuits, how they work, and how to apply them without creating arc-welders, I’d be grateful. Steve did these suggestions not provide any, or enough ideas?. http://www...

LMS

something occurred to me recently regarding the switch from SB3 classic to software players. On the SB3 I have a memory that says there was a choice between repeat current song and repeat current playlist. I may have mis-remembered. Not sure if the choice was offered in the player menu or LMS player...

Re: 335

not sure that's good advice at all....

I've just realised that gear4music are selling red ones for £299 brand new and guaranteed...with 6 strings

the last thing I bought from cash converters was a takemine which was faulty and I had to get a refund...much hassle.

I'm having one of those should I, shouldn't I, episodes. Since fiddling with Nick's(no, stop sniggering!) I've had a serious hankering for one, but could never really justify it. Anyways, there is a black Epiphone dot hanging in the window of the local cash converters, with a price tag of £150..... ...

Re: Hypex NCore NC400 Monoblocks

I'm really quite keen to hear the difference between the 3116 and the ncores, or even the new boards that Bruno has developed. I still really rate the 3116 and for the difference in price the ncores would have to be significantly better. Or, maybe due to diminishing returns I may not be in the demog...

Re: Streaming advice please

There was a trick when I was getting LMS on the pi to see my NAS. I don't recall exactly but the path wasn't what the instructions said and I had to try two or three different things. I can't be the only one in that position. I tried for days to get it to go, net searches etc. At least now there's ...

Well, if you remove the "just" then she could be both, they are orthogonal after all.

(And yes, my day is improved every time I have a chance to use that word).
only just orthoganal..if you consider the 'fine line'..

Re: homeplugs

I used to check the channel usage quite regularly, just for fun, and to see how strong the neighbour's routers were. It isn't that. The wifi adapter hardware has disappeared from the device list so I can't enable, disable, or update the driver because the unit doesn't exist. so I'm left with the rj4...

the seat backrest on my first microlight was a 7 gallon plastic fuel tank.......funnily enough I never gave it a thought at the time, I was thinking about other things.

homeplugs

I'm not sure I've mentioned this before... I run my audio setup through homeplugs. I've done this since 2005 when I first got a squeezebox as the NAS was in the attic. I tried wifi at the time but it kept dropping out, and the reception from the attic was flaky. So it's been homeplugs ever since. So...
