This trail using the route of an old rail track following the estuary is a must see. Returning as the sun is beginning to set returns dividends with bird site...

Re: Yorkshire Hi-Fi Club

I would like to come along to one of these events. The only thing that concerns me is listening at sustained high volume levels. I seem to recall this being mentioned. What are levels like? Friends used to laugh at me controlling my listening levels with cotton wool at live gigs many years back. I p...

Re: NAS Recommendations

I have a Synology DS116 with one drive and a back up external HDD. Could someone please point me in the right direction to set this up and burn my cd collection to it. I'm sure there must be a plethora of instructions for this online but I welcome advice on the best info for the novice wanting to sa...

Re: Nothing In Particular

When my lad was out in Cyprus for three years with his mum and her bloke we used to joke about him getting vitamin D deficient because he spent so much time in his bedroom playing World of Warcraft.

Not everyone's cup of tea but any Hellenophiles here will appreciate it. Part of a live album we play a lot at home. Would have done anything to be there. The atmosphere was electric.

I had/have a Private Eye book of photos sent in by readers from their travels here and abroad. A very amusing book.

I wish I had been there to hear the kit for myself. I am rather surprised at some of the opinion in the first published comment.

Sadly, family duties mean I am unable to visit today. I will be particularly interested to hear how well the Paradise performs having spent many happy hours matching transistors on my own as yet not quite finished project. I would have liked to hear Nick's creations. The reference must be a bit spec...

Re: Nothing In Particular

The call to breakfast having been much appreciated, the sun shines out on the science hall dome in the university city of Tartu ... I'm off to Riga today. Estonia gets 11/10. Rather fanciful, I know, but I feel I could live here. A traveller to all three republics rated the friendliness of the peop...
