Is there nothing on the 'net that shows the schematic?

Thanks for the update. Hang in there...

This sounds interesting. Where is the crystal and what frequency does the alternative crystal need to be?

This is my 1970 Philips 3051AT stereogram. Cost about $300 after refurb. Sounds great and has "a nice tone" as my mother would have said. A bit less than $26500... Built in Philips factory in Salisbury, Rhodesia. Made of Rhodesian Teak and teak veneer. Plays 16, 33, 45, 78 rpm records with...

Marantz SQA-2B interest?

I have a working (well it was working last time I used it) Marantz SQA-2B decoder. It was bought in 1975 to replace an SQA-2 but the 4140 amp with SQA-2 was stolen before I could change it. I soldered the device into another non-Marantz quad circuit (I have the pin-outs) and used it - occasionally -...

Dunno about that - I get the train in every day - nice & comfy. Air-conditioned & heated. 50 minutes each way in the warm-and-dry to read or design "stuff". Downside is that parking is now 1,000 quid/year and season ticket is now 5,550 quid p/a... :( You're lucky that you even hav...

I have a 51inch Samsung plasma TV. The 3D glasses were only 14 quid each so I bought four. I watched Avatar in 3D and it's perfect.

The only downside is the reflection from the screen so the drapes must be drawn.

I bought a solid-state hard drive for my desktop PC (around 250Gig). Amazing increase in speed and well worth the small additional cost.

Booting takes just seconds now. Such a pleasure.

Thanks to all for comments.

I want to standardise on one table so using other makes doesn't help in this case.

Thanks Dave. I'll wait a bit and see if anyone else has ideas. No need to reinvent any wheels. But, I'm not just waiting. As something of an electronics fundi myself, I am looking at the circuits and frequency dividers to see if I can do it using my own initiative. If I succeed, this thread will be ...

I'm also looking for 16rpm mods for either the Technics SP10 Mk2 or the SL1200.

Any electronic geniuses out there?

SP10 at 16rpm

This is for real. I have a few 16rpm records and an old Philips autochanger that plays 16, 33, 45 and 78 that I want to junk. I also have a Technics SP10 Mk2 that does 33, 45 and 78 but not 16. Anyone got a mod for me? (Incidentally, I also have a Technics SL1200 for which I have requested - on anot...

Barlow Wadley XCR-30 radio circuit board problem

I post this is in case someone else gets the problem I did on a Barlow Wadley XCR-30 short wave receiver. I have owned it for around 35 years and it always worked fine. One day recently I turned the set on and the FM tuner worked fine but the am circuits were stone dead - no sound from the speaker a...
